Patients are not required to wear masks on the floors, however CEDC clinician managers reserve the right to change that policy at any time. For example, if a patient is feeling sick, they will be asked to wear a mask even if they test negative for COVID since we want to limit the spread of colds and flu to other patients and staff. CEDC staff members are required to be masked at all times.
