Getting Admitted
Please contact CEDC directly for an initial evaluation appointment. Referrals are also accepted from physicians, mental health professionals, college and high school staff, and other organizations within the community.
Our admission process begins with a telephone screening, after which you will be given an appointment for a clinical intake evaluation (either on-site or by phone). During this evaluation, a clinician will gather information about your treatment needs and health insurance that will allow them to outline a treatment plan.
If it is determined that you need residential care, routine lab work and an ECG test are required prior to your intake interview. Our admissions team will contact your primary care physician and direct them where to send test results.*
Insurance
Before you arrive for an initial intake, we will verify your health insurance coverage to ensure that your plan benefits cover the level of care you are seeking. In addition, we will obtain specific policy and coverage information by calling the member services phone number listed on the back of your insurance card.
