Clinical Case Manager – New Hampshire – Full Time
Enthusiastic, team-oriented professional to fill our Clinical Case Manager position in our Cambridge, MA location. This is a full-time, 9:00-5:30, Monday through Friday position. The Clinical Case Manager works closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that clinical work is consistent with the philosophy and objectives of CEDC.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed or License-eligible clinician (Psy.D., Ph.D., MSW, LMHC, LICSW, LCSW)
Excellent attention to detail
Confident, articulate and personable
Comfortable working with patients and families in person, via Zoom, or over the telephone
Comfortable conducting group therapy
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to multi-task and work as a multi-disciplinary team member
Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of clinical experience providing direct clinical care with psychiatric and mental health populations
Experience working in the field of eating disorders
Strong clinical, communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced mental health environment
Experience with CBT and DBT modalities
Responsibilities:
Orient patient to the program rules and parameters of the Case Manager’s relationship with the patient
Provide individual therapy
Provide family therapy
Assist families in implementing behavioral strategies
Provide group therapy
Provide crisis intervention
Develop and update treatment plans
Collaborate with patient providers and other outpatient providers
Complete clinical documentation as required for the appropriate level of care
Conduct concurrent reviews with insurance companies
Develop appropriate discharge plans
Develop relapse prevention plans
Conduct initial evaluations
Perform other duties as needed

Residential Counselor – Cambridge, MA:
Reports To: RC Manager
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS or Associates (Social Sciences/Psychology preferred)
- MAP Certification preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Weekend availability
- Ability to consistently work one of two shifts
- Morning (7:00am – 3:30pm) – 5 shifts a week
- Evening (3:00pm – 11:30pm) – 5 shifts a week
At Cambridge Eating Disorder Center we are dedicated to helping adult and adolescent women rebuild their lives. The Residential Counselor (RC) role is a challenging and meaningful position, ideal for recent graduates looking to gain clinical experience towards a career in the field of psychology, social work, or healthcare. The ideal candidate is hard-working, compassionate, and eager to learn. RCs are an integral part of our multi-disciplinary treatment team which includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered dieticians, psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers. RCs receive intensive training to perform the following responsibilities:
Emotional Support
- Help patients develop coping skills and distraction techniques to manage ED urges.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups that are commensurate with RC level of training and experience.
- Use active listening skills to individually process day-to-day issues that patients struggle with (meal/behavior noncompliance on and off the unit, self-doubt, body consciousness).
- Provide psycho-education about eating disorders and related issues to patients and their familial/social support system.
- Promote appropriately supportive relationships between patients.
Medical Supervision
- Correctly weigh patients. Take, accurately interpret, and document vital signs (i.e., blood pressure, pulse).
- Supervise therapeutic meals and snacks following approved guidelines
- Supervise bathroom and shower use for patients according to each patient’s assigned supervision level.
- Escort clients to offsite medical appointments and ER visits (via taxi or uber; no driving necessary)
- Administer medications, after becoming MAP certified
Safety Concerns
- Possess a clear understanding of emergency procedures, including how to quickly access emergency contact information for each patient.
- Remain vigilant! Check on assigned patients frequently.
- Conduct thorough contraband searches.
- Promptly communicate with patient’s treatment team, (e.g., psychiatrist, case manager, nutritionist) regarding client care issues and concerns.
- Carefully and thoroughly document all clinically relevant information regarding patient behavior (e.g., completing Meal and Snack logs, Group Notes, Shift Progress Notes, and Incident Reports, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Attend the required number of RC Supervision meetings (at least 24 hours a year for full- time employees; at least 12 hours a year for part-time employees—starting from the date of hire). If unable to attend, follow-up with an RC supervisor as soon as possible.

Diet Technician
Diet Technician Qualifications
B.S. in Nutrition – Knowledge of food safety preferred. Knowledge of food ordering and inventory management
Responsibilities:
- Review/edit patients’ menus for the upcoming week to ensure that chosen foods comply with the patient’s meal plan. Write in appropriate portion sizes as needed
- Assist patients with planning passes to include meals/snacks as appropriate for patient’s meal plan
- Plan and conduct weekly cooking projects with patients
- Plan weekly baking projects for residential counselors to perform with patients
- Update fluid chart in the kitchen per dietician fluid recommendations
- Assist dietician with any other duties as needed
